Platinum Pest Control is a family-owned company led by Amy and Jeff Tomion, who have been serving the pest management industry since 1996. Founded in 2008, Platinum was built on the belief that effective pest management requires more than simply treating pests — it requires knowledge, prevention, science, and a deep understanding of the environments we protect.

Jeff Tomion has worked in the pest control industry since 1989 and holds a degree in Environmental Science from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. His scientific background and decades of field experience helped shape Platinum’s proactive, systems-based approach to pest management.

The next generation of the family business is represented by Jeff and Amy’s son, Jeffery Tomion, who has been involved with Platinum Pest Control his entire life and now works alongside his parents in continuing the company’s commitment to science-based pest management. Jeffery earned a degree in Environmental Health and Chemistry from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, further strengthening Platinum’s foundation in environmental science, regulatory awareness, and modern pest management practices.

Over the years, Platinum Pest Control provided both residential and commercial pest control services throughout the Northeast. In 2026, the company made the strategic decision to focus exclusively on commercial pest management, specializing in food manufacturing, pet food, animal feed, pharmaceutical, distribution, and storage facilities. This transition allowed Platinum to dedicate its expertise entirely to the complex pest management challenges found within highly regulated human and animal product environments.
