Certified for over 30 years, Jeffery J. Tomion holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University, Class of 1994. He is certified by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in Ornamental Turf (3a), Structural and Rodent (7a), Fumigation (7b), Food Processing (7f), and Cooling Towers (7g) and has had extensive experience in all areas of pest management and on-site inspection procedures. Jeff has passed the NPMA Pest Management in Food Plants Exam. Jeff Tomion is certified by ASI Food Safety Consultants as a Lead Food Safety Auditor. Jeff has also attended the American Institute of Baking (AIB) Food Plant Sanitation and HAACP seminars. Jeff has passed the NPMA Pest Management in Food Plants Exam.

Jeff, son of owner Jeff Tomion, has been certified for six years and has been in the business all his life. He graduated from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in December 2019 with a B.S. in Environmental Health. He is an NYSDEC commercially certified applicator in Structural and Rodent Pest Control (7A), Food Processing (7F), and Fumigation (7B). Jeff has also passed the NPMA Pest Management in Food Plants Exam. He has taken on a leadership role as the business has grown, managing the residential aspect of Platinum Pest Control.

Corey has been part of the platinum family for three years and handles our commercial accounts. He is certified with his category in 7F food processing. Corey number one concern, besides the quality of his work is customer satisfaction!

Jill is a commercial pesticide applicator with 25 years in the pest control industry. She studied at Purdue University in 1999. She is an NYSDEC commercially certified applicator in Structural and Rodent Pest Control (7A), along with food processing and nuisance wildlife control (7F). Jill has been a pest control technician for many years because she loves teaching and learning from people. Her experience is in both residential and commercial accounts. She often says "we have to work together as a team," to her clients because she likes the challenge of problem solving and helping educate others. Customers call jill "The Bug Lady."

Peter started with Platinum Pest Control in November 2023 after his work as a Maritime Enforcement Specialist in the United States Coast Guard. Prior to the coast Guard where he was a third class officer, he earned his bachelor's degree on Political Science from St. Bonaventure University. Peter is currently working on becoming fully certified in pest control.

With over 20 Years as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force, Robert is now a Commercial Technician with over ten years in the industry. He has an associates degree in Communication Applications Technology and has held Food Processing Licenses in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. Mr. Scott currently holds Food Processing Licenses in New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Steve is a Commercial Applicator with over 30 years in the industry. He has certifications in 7F Food Processing, 8 public health and nuisance control. Steve's son Sean is also a technician for Platinum Pest, working in our Commercial division.

Sean is a Service Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the Pest Control Industry. He is also a Certified Applicator with 7F category and a NYS Nuisance Wildlife Operator. Sean has held management positions at numerous companies throughout his career in New York State. He has a passion for upholding outstanding quality service to better aid customers and their needs.

Tessa has her M.S. from Cornell University in Entomology. She specializes in low impact insect management methods, such as biological control. As our Staff Entomologist, she is responsible for a number of duties, including pest identification and management recommendations. Tessa also holds an A.A.S. in Agriculture Technology from SUNY Alfred and a B.S. in Entomology from Cornell University. She will soon be board certified.

Will is a technician with almost 5 years of experience in the pest control industry. He has taken many courses including the Purdue Food course and is certified in 7A Structural and Rodent Pest Control. As a passionate tech, he is currently working on becoming an applicator and continues to make a name for himself amongst auditors and USDA agencies. Will's experience is mainly in rodent control, residential spraying, and fumigating.
